The Candidate
Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima, affectionately known across Lagos as "OmoBarca," represents the true spirit of resilience and community empowerment. Originating from Okwu Community in Abia State, but born, bred, and built in the bustling streets of Ajegunle, he understands the heartbeat of the grassroots.
As the CEO of Chimfrancee Ventures, a licensed customs-certified freight forwarding and logistics company, he has built a successful enterprise that creates jobs and drives economic activity. But his true wealth lies in his 20+ year verified track record of transformative philanthropy—lifting families out of poverty long before seeking political office.
On May 29, 2026, at Abayomi Hall, Awodi-Ora, Ajegunle, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) made history by electing him as their unanimous consensus candidate with zero opposition. A united party behind a unified vision for Ajeromi-Ifelodun.
"I was born in the streets of Ajegunle. I know the struggle of the common man, the dreams of the youth, and the prayers of our mothers. I am not running to be a politician; I am running to be your servant in Abuja. My track record is my covenant with you."
